(i) An Indian Physiologist /Pharmacologist/ Scientist. (ii) Must have outstanding research work. Minimum 40 Publications in Indian journals (not the review articles). (ii) Minimum 30 years experience in teaching (UG+PG) in Physiology and Pharmacology. (iii) Setting up new facility or sub branch/Sub-Speciality in Physiology/Pharmacology in India. (iv) No age

(i) Minimum 25 Publications in Indian/Foreign journals in the field of Neuro-Physiology & Neuro-Sciences. (ii) Minimum 20 years experience in teaching (UG+PG) in Physiology and Pharmacology. (iii) Work in India. (iv) Same work should not be published/ presented for the other award. (iv) No age.

(i) To an Indian scientist/ Physiologist/Pharmacologist of Indian eminence who has substantially contributed in the field of medical education and technology with special reference to Physiology/ Pharmacology or allied sciences in India. (ii) Life member of APPI. (iii) The candidate should be nominated by an APPI member and the nomination should include Bio-data of nominee, justification for nomination by the nominator, List of references and consent of the nominee.
(i) Minimum 10 publications in Medical Education and Technology/ Development. (ii) Should have organised at least 10 scientific events (workshops/ CMEs/National level conferences) as Org Sec/ Joint Sec and 20 such events at local level. (iii) No age.

Where there are multiple authors, all other authors must nominate the proposed author for the award based on the major quantum of work done by the applicant.

APPICON Life Time Achievement
(i) Life member of APPI.
(i) To an eminent Physiologist/ Pharmacologist of India. (ii) Will be given after superannuation. (iii) Age >65yrs (iv) No application & only nomination from panel. (v) Ex committee to decide.
All achievements, credentials, awards/orations/honours, member of past and present scientific bodies, research publications to be assessed by the GS and his panel of Judges. The contribution to the APPI and IJPP is to be counted the most.
(i) The award winner will be presented a memento and a certificate form APPI. (ii) No TA/DA from APPI. However local hospitality TA/DA to be offered by the Org. Sec. of the APPICON. (i) For best paper published in IJPP (ii) Life member of APPI. (iii) The applicant shouldn’t have received any prize/award for the same work in the past from any organisation. (iv) The research paper should have been published in the four issues (prior to this announcement) of IJPP and the paper should not have received any APPI award in the previous years. (v) In case of multiple author applicant paper, the applicant for this award must produce an undertaking from all co-authors duly signed that they have no objection for the concerned author applying for the award.

General information relegated to awards and orations
(i) All the nominations/applications for various awards, orations and prizes should be submitted to Gen Sec of APPI before the due date which is intimated by Gen Sec APPI. (ii) Only one award during the conference: APPI life member to apply for one award only during an APPICON. (iii) Office bearers will not be allowed to contest for any orations/awards. (iv) The decision of General Secretary will be final for all the awards based upon the recommendation of panel of judges across India except R. Srinivasan & Harish Gupta Award which will be assessed by Org. Sec. and his panel of judges.
